About the Role
We are seeking an experienced public relations professional with 5 to 10 years of agency or in-house communications experience to join our growing team. This is a hybrid, hands-on role for a skilled storyteller who enjoys leading day-to-day client execution while contributing to strategic planning, business development and agency growth.

Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Account Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client lead across a portfolio of accounts.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic counsel.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables and account priorities to a high standard.
Strategic Communications & Media Relations
- Develop and execute integrated communications plans aligned with client business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for proactive storytelling, thought leadership and brand visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, producers and content creators to secure meaningful coverage.
- Write high-quality press releases, media advisories, pitches, briefing books and client presentations.
Influencer Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and oversee influencer engagement strategies, from vetting and recruitment through execution.
- Negotiate campaign deliverables, manage partnerships and optimize social content planning.
- Stay current on emerging platforms, creator trends and social media best practices.
Measurement, Insights & Growth
- Track, analyze and report on campaign metrics against client KPIs.
- Support new business development, including research, proposal development and pitch presentations.
- Identify organic growth opportunities and service expansions within existing client relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in public relations, communications, influencer marketing or integrated agencies.
- Sector track record: Proven success securing coverage across consumer, lifestyle, corporate, technology or B2B sectors.
- Industry asset: Prior agency experience and/or knowledge of the automotive sector is considered a strong asset.
- Media network: Strong pitching capabilities with an established network of media contacts.
- PR tech stack: Familiarity with media monitoring and influencer discovery platforms (such as Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, Hootsuite or similar tools).
- Modern workflow: Proficient with Google Workspace and comfortable using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, research and content development.
- Professional attributes: An entrepreneurial, solution-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $100,000 base, commensurate with experience.
